An agency needs per-domain checks across many client brands and real evidence to show in the client meeting, not one blended score. None of the vendors we checked publish agency or multi-brand pricing on their own pricing pages, so that question still needs a direct conversation with the vendor before you sign.
Three things, in this order: a fast way to check a new client domain, an answer you can actually show the client, and a report you can hand over without editing it first. A single visibility score is easy to build a slide around, but it collapses the moment a client asks "named by which engine, saying what". The tools worth shortlisting attach the real AI answer, and its sources, to every number.
Bottom line: before price, check whether a tool gives you something you can put in front of a client unedited: the actual question asked, the actual answer, and who else got named.
Our full ranking, the 10 best AI visibility tools in 2026, covers ten vendors in depth, and Profound alternatives compares the same seven on price and evidence generally. Here they are again, read for the agency angle:
| Tool | Engines measured | Evidence shown | Multi-brand / agency pricing | Starting price | Who it fits |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Profound | ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews on the trial; Claude and others on higher tiers | Composite scores; agent-run credits | Not published; plans by quote | see vendor pricing page | Enterprise agencies with one large retainer client |
| Peec AI | 3 models per plan, custom set | Visibility % + cited sources per prompt | Not published on the pricing page | see vendor pricing page | An agency that writes its own prompt set per client |
| Otterly.AI | ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Copilot on Lite; Claude/Gemini paid add-ons | Mentions + cited sources | Not published on the pricing page | see vendor pricing page | A small agency starting with one or two client accounts |
| Semrush AI Toolkit | ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini, Perplexity, no Claude | Share of voice + sentiment | Not published as a standalone agency tier | see vendor pricing page | An agency already running client sites through Semrush |
| Scrunch AI | 4 AI models on Core; 9 on Enterprise | Visibility + AI-readiness score, site audits | Not published on the pricing page | see vendor pricing page | Agencies bundling technical fixes into the retainer |
| Ahrefs Brand Radar | Sold per engine index | Mentions / share of voice | Not published on the pricing page | see vendor pricing page | An agency that already reports from Ahrefs |
| Reflexa | ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity | Raw AI answer + sources attached to every finding | Not a published tier; each domain runs its own check from $49/mo, first check free | $49/mo | An agency that wants a client-ready answer, not a black-box score |
Prices marked "see vendor pricing page" could not be re-verified from the vendor's own page in this check; engine and evidence details are as published on each vendor's own pricing or documentation page, September 2026. Vendors change plans often, confirm on the vendor's site before buying.
Not on their own pricing pages, as far as we could confirm. Every vendor above prices around a single account or a single set of tracked prompts; none of the seven publishes a visible "agency" or "per additional brand" line item. That does not mean no such option exists, several plausibly offer it by quote, only that you should ask for it directly rather than assume it from the public page.
What to ask on the sales call: can you run a separate check per client domain under one login, and does adding a fifth or tenth brand cost the same as the first.
The real question and the real answer, not a percentage. A slide that says "your AI visibility score is 62" invites the obvious follow-up: 62 compared to what, and where does the number come from. A slide that shows the actual buyer question, what ChatGPT said, and which competitor it named instead answers that question before it is asked.
Why it matters: a score you cannot open is hard to defend in a client meeting; the raw answer defends itself.
Coverage is uneven, and it matters for B2B clients in particular. Semrush AI Toolkit does not measure Claude at all (semrush.com/pricing/ai, September 2026). Otterly.AI covers ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot on its Lite plan, with Claude and Gemini as paid add-ons. Reflexa measures ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity on every plan, including the free first check, so a client roster that mixes consumer and B2B brands does not need a second subscription.
You can build an agency shortlist without buying anything yet:
Reflexa's first check is free per domain, no card required, about three minutes. Paid plans start at $49/month. None of the other vendors we checked publish a public per-additional-brand or agency price on their own pricing pages, so ask directly before signing a multi-client contract.
With Reflexa, yes: every finding ships with the raw AI answer and its sources, so you can show a client exactly what ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity said, not just a chart. Otterly.AI and Peec AI also surface the sources an engine cited alongside a prompt.
Coverage varies by vendor. Semrush AI Toolkit does not measure Claude at all. Otterly.AI puts Claude behind a paid add-on on top of its Lite plan. Reflexa measures ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity on every plan, including the free first check.
Run the client's real buyer questions through the engines, keep the actual answers as evidence, and hand over a report that shows who got named, including the competitors that beat them.
Yes. Reflexa's free check runs on any domain with no card and takes about three minutes, so you can see whether a paid engagement is worth pitching before you commit to it.
The free check runs your real buyer questions across ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity, evidence attached, no card needed.
